Biography

As a Project Architect and Senior Architectural Designer, Joern Truemper leads design teams in analysis, planning and programming for a number of significant architectural projects. He is accountable for developing overall project plan and specific designs in response to owner needs, manages budget and schedule during planning and design phases, and develops creative and innovative design solutions with technical integrity. His work also contributes to determining the methods to communicate design intent to clients, and liaises between senior and junior staff in design dialogue

Since he joined the firm in 1997, Joern has worked on notable firm projects such as the Aileron Center for Entrepreneurial Education, the Summit Elementary School in Casper Wyoming, conversion of a landmarked building to luxury apartments at First Wooster in Soho, NY, the award-winning Jackie and Harold Spielman Children’s Library at Port Washington Public Library, and the design of “Moveable Museums” at American Museum of Natural History.
